A new Sulaco recording is underway, a release date has not been set.
It's seven songs clocking in at just under 35 minutes. In related news Greg Herman from Morechi.com has written and directed a video for the song "The Approach" which will appear on our next release. He's currently in post production and hopefully will be done soon. We'll post more info and links when it's finished.

-Just received confirmation for Maryland Death Fest VIII.
Which will take place May 28th - 30th 2010 in Baltimore MD.
-Updated the shows section with a few shows Sulaco has coming up.
-Sulaco are still slowly but surely plugging away working on new material for a 2010 release.

Holy crap it's been almost a year since I"ve updated the "news" section. Not much new in the Sulaco camp, we've been slowly but surely working on new material for our next release, and booking the occassional show when our schedules will allow it.
In related news, Erik's been keeping busy with Brutal Truth with their new cd coming out soon, they're out on the road as I type this.
In other related news, Erik is back behind the drums again in Kill Whitaker. The brain child of guitarists Chris H.(ex-Bitch In The Well) and Scott D.(ex-Kalibas) with Lon on bass.

Really looking forward to the Victory Fest this year and we're starting to book some shows for this summer, we're hoping to get out a bit. We're still writing ever so slowly but surely. Other than that not much is new with the band. In personal news, Erik and his wife had their first baby, a son, and Chris and his wife had their second son. Congratulations Poppas.

It's been a while since we've had an update so I'll get right into it. With the ushering in of 2007 came the decision to try to restucture/rebuild/redefine Sulaco. We're slowly but surely working on new material and working in our newest addition, Brian Mason on second guitar. Some of you may know Brian from his work in the band "BML." Brian is a friend we've known for years, and played previously with Chris in "WITHIN." He's a great addition and we're looking forward to seeing what will come of this union.
Erik has been busy getting back on the drummers throne with the resurrection of Kalibas and has been touring the globe/working on new material with Brutal Truth on guitar.

Happy New Years everyone. Tearing Through The Roots cd is now available through Willowtip Records. Not much new here, we're currently writing new material and working on booking some shows for this coming year. Added some new links "lyrics" and "past shows" to the sidebar.

Uploaded a new song from our upcoming Willowtip Records release, "Tearing Through The Roots" to our My Space page so check it out if you want a sneak preview of what the new stuff sounds like. The cd is scheduled for release on Aug. 19th 2006.

Just a quick update for some news and to add a few more tour dates. We recently signed a deal with Willowtip Records to release our full length cd, entitled "Tearing Through The Roots." The release date is scheduled for July 2006. If you've never heard of Willowtip Records do yourself a favor and check them out. With releases by Cephalic Carnage, Misery Index, Phobia, Circle Of Dead Children, Dim Mak, Arsis, Commit Suicide, Watchmaker, Rune and Kalibas, to name a few, how can you go wrong.

May / June US tour is in the works. We'll be hitting the road from May 27th until June 17th with Portland Maines Conifer.

Happy New Years everyone. We recently spoke with Eric from Bloated Goat Records and are happy to announce that the Solient Green / Sulaco split 7" should be back from press by the end of January as long as everything goes well. So watch for it to be available by Feb/March 2006.
-Also, we're currently putting the finishing touches on our yet un-named debut full length release. So watch for that sometime in 2006 as well.
-I put up a bunch of Sulaco pics. Basically all the live pics we've been given to date. They range from 2002 - 2005. Sulaco pics.

Once again it's been a while with an update, it's been a slow few months. Erik went to Brazil again with Nuclear Assault to fill in on second guitar for a handful of shows. We're just about ready to put the finishing touches on the 5 song demo we recorded. Also, I updated the shows listings. This month we'll be doing 5 dates with Seattle's Playing Enemy.
In the works this fall is a US tour with the mighty Conifer from Portland Maine. We're really looking forward to this.

Well it's been a while with an update, currently we're finishing up the writing of new material for a new full length release. We'll be hitting the studio in a week or two to demo some of the new material to shop around to labels.

The split 7" with Soilent Green has been pushed back again, it looks like it should be out sometime early in 2005.

We're looking forward to hitting the road in 2005 and a U.S. tour is in the works so watch for us in a town near you.

Welcome to the new version of the Sulaco website. There have been a lot of changes here and there will be a even more in the days to come, including a completely revamped online store with a full shopping cart. We'd like to thank Clarity Studios for all their hard work on the new site.

We are playing a few shows this month, including one next tuesday at Ellison Park with Psyopus, Commit Suicide, Colossus of Rails and Engineer. Its gonna be one hell of a kickoff for the spring/summer/whatever you call it in Rochester, so make sure you show up. Here are some quick directions from 590: Take the Blossom Road exit. Turn East (away from downtown) follow Blossom down into the park area. Turn Left at the main park entrance. Follow that road all the way to the end. Turn right, Hazelwood is the first lodge on the left hand side. There should be signs directing you as well.
